Connect to Library Resources

UBC Library provides online access to resources (books, articles, media) from many publishers, and not all links work the same. 

We encourage linking to Library webpages or services whenever possible, rather than constructing custom links, as this will ensure users are prompted to enter their CWL and that access will be granted with consistency.

To start:

• For course readings, please use Library Online Course Reserves (LOCR)
• For individual items such as articles, books, or ebooks, please use the permanent links provided by UBC Library (instructions)
• For indexes & databases, use the URL for Library Resource Pages Example: Web of Science database
• For journals, use the URL for the UBC Library journal holdings listing Example: Indigenous Law Bulletin

If none of the above options apply, you can create individual links following the instructions below.
