Creating Permanent Links To Resources in Summon & Library Catalogue
You can easily create a permanent link to any type of material (book, article, film, newspaper article, etc) from Summon, the main search box on the UBC Library website. Select the link icon above the title to generate a sharable link. If UBC Library requires a login, a CWL will be required to proceed to the item. Note: This is the easiest way to link to library materials.
When searching in the Library catalogue you can easily obtain a permanent link to any type of item you find by selecting the permanent link displayed directly above the Location section of the record.
