CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) is an excellent resource for finding qualitative research in the health sciences. While it is not an Ovid database, many of the same principles apply as when searching Ovid Medline or EMBASE. You can choose subject headings, combine them with keyword terms, and build up a search strategy line by line. The video tutorials below show you how. Another database, PsycInfo, works similarly to CINAHL.
CINAHL and Medline have a lot of overlap in the journals they include. In addition to journal articles, CINAHL includes book chapters, dissertations, and conference presentations.
