Collection of industry-leading standards covering a broad range of engineering disciplines including aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, environmental, geological, health and safety, industrial, materials science, mechanical, nuclear petroleum, soil science, and solar engineering.

Over 300 procedural videos are featured in selected standards on the Compass platform.

Older ASTM standards in print will be found in the ASRS at Irving K Barber Learning Centre.

Note: Access to the American Petroleum Institute standards is available until September 15, 2020

Standards Use

Use of ASTM and CSA Standards is restricted to UBC students, faculty, staff and non-commercial users in the library.

Individual members of the public may access ASTM Standards at a UBC Library location for non-commercial educational or research purposes only. Individuals representing another institution or company are prohibited from accessing this product.
