Community Engaged Research

This guide is intended for faculty, students, staff, and community members who are interested in learning more about community-engaged research.

Introduction

Community-engaged research, also sometimes referred to as community-based research, participatory research, or action researchis "a collaborative process between researchers and community partners with the aim of creating and disseminating knowledge with the goal of contributing to the discipline and well-being of the community" (University of Victoria).

This guide is intended for faculty, students, staff, and community members who are interested in learning more about community-engaged research.
