Citing Your Sources

There are many online citation management tools that you can use to track and organize your research materials. Have a look at our How To Cite guide for a description of some of the more popular tools and sign up for one of the Library's free workshops.

Web-based citation management tools enable you to:

  • format citations and bibliographies in seconds
  • connect to your account anywhere there's web access
  • share your citations with other users
  • format bibliographies, in-text references, and footnotes automatically in MLA and many other citation styles
