Explore the biodiversity in your own backyard! UBC Okanagan Library and the Okanagan Regional Library have partnered to create a fun and interactive activity for all ages. Activities include identifying local species, visiting a honey farm, and touring trails and outside spaces.

What is the Biodiversity Scavenger Hunt?
An interactive game where the goal is to complete all the activities on the board.
How do I fill it out?
After you’ve completed an activity, cross off the item on the board. If you would like to showcase your photos, art, or writing, please share them with us on Facebook or Twitter and use the hashtag #BiodiversityScavengerHunt!
How many items do I need to complete?
At least 50% of the board. You can choose from any of the items.
When do I have to have this completed by?
Submit your entry by September 30th.
How can I submit my entry?
Please email your completed board to innovation.library@ubc.ca, along with your name. Your name will be entered into a draw to win a prize. The winners will be announced on Friday, October 2nd.
What is the prize?
Both the UBC Okanagan Library and the Okanagan Regional Library will draw 1 winner. The winner will have the opportunity to select 1 book on biodiversity for each respective library.
