Maps
UBC Library has an extensive physical map collection, the majority of which is located in Walter C. Koerner Library's Maps and Atlases Area (floor plan). Call numbers for the MENA/SWANA region are as follows: 410-411 Middle East-Turkey, 413 Lebanon-Syria, 414 Israel-Palestine-Jordan, 415 Arabian Peninsula, 417 Iraq-Iran, 525 Egypt etc.
The collection is currently being re-catalogued according to the Library of Congress Classification schedules. Some maps already have new call numbers (i.e. G7420 Middle East, G7430 Turkey, G7470 Lebanon etc.), which are represented in the images below.
The easiest way to find the map you need online is to search the library catalog using call numbers noted above. Another option is to browse the library catalog by subject headings. Below are some examples:
