What is CINAHL?
CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) provides coverage of nursing and allied health literature from 1982-present. CINAHL indexes 2,700+ journals, as well as selected books, pamphlets, dissertations, audiovisuals in nursing, allied health, consumer health, biomedicine, alternative therapy and health sciences librarianship.

To access CINAHL:
- Visit the UBC Library Homepage
- Choose the Indexes and Databases tab
- Type CINAHL into the search field and click search
- Choose CINAHL (EBSCOhost) database from the search results
- You may be prompted to enter your CWL and password
- You will be taken to the CINAHL search page
