Database Alerts

Database Alerts

Staying current on the latest scholarly work in any discipline can be time-consuming. Fortunately, most databases offer alert features that inform you about new articles (or other publication types) published on a specific topic. These services often ask you to create an account, conduct/save your searches and then to select a delivery method.

New Items in the UBC Library Collection

New UBC Library Items

UBC Library is constantly adding new materials to our collections. In order to stay on top of the latest materials for your discipline, you can use the New Materials and Resources at UBC Library to keep track of our newest additions. You can limit your results by language or by format, including books, e-books, journals, music scores, sound recordings, maps/atlases and DVD/videos.

This page will even allow you to create an RSS feed to get automatic updates about new UBC Library items that are relevant to your subject area. You can also custom-design an RSS feed that combines multiple subjects.
