UBC Library is a member of the Linguistic Data Consortium (LDC), and more than 300 datasets from LDC are available in UBC Library's Abacus database or on the UBC Teamshare Service. A wide range of languages is represented in sound and/or text files, including Arabic, Chinese, Spanish etc.
