Science Expo
Tuesday, September 18 10:00am - 12:00 at Woodward Library, Main Entrance Area
The Science Expo is an opportunity to see some of the amazing science that is happening right here on campus and to learn about organizations in the community too.
Come explore science and technology projects from local organizations and kids activities at this free event! Includes light refreshments.
We're thrilled that the following groups or individuals will be joining us.
- Beaty Museum - biological specimens
- Canadian Blood Services - learn about stem cell donation and join One Match, Canada's National Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Registry
- Engineering Physics - robots
- iSchool ASIS&T - great science reads book recommendations
- Open Science Network - citizen science, community biolab
- UBC BEST - Biomedical Engineering Student Team
- Geering Up - UBC Engineering & Science for Kids
- UBC Library - featuring the new Seed Lending Library, collections such as: Anatomy TV and Birds of North America, Arduino kits, button making, card making, photo booth, games, and a feltboard to share why you love science!
