National Learn to Code Day

Lillooet Room (Room 301), Irving K. Barber Learning Centre

UBC Library is partnering with Canada/Ladies Learning Code for the National Learn to Code Day, and hosting a coding workshop Intro to Browser Extensions with JavaScript.

During this workshop, you will be introduced to:

  • Learn basic programming techniques and concepts that are transferable to other programming languages
  • Review building blocks of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Load and replace extensions using Chrome's developer mode
  • Learn about other resources for continuing learning!

This workshop is designed for beginners, and everyone is welcome. There will be no formal fee for the workshop; it is by donation / "pay what you can".
