Founded in 1847, Labatt is Canada’s largest brewer. Labatt employs 3,000 people across Canada and brews 60 different brands, including its Pilsner Lager nicknamed “Blue”. In 1945, Labatt became a publically traded company and in 1995 it was bought by what is now Anheuser-Busch InBev based in Belgium (Source: Labatt: History).
