Research Commons

The Research Commons at the Koerner Library provides four services: thesis formatting support, citation management assistance, statistical software support, and FIREtalks. These services are all being provided by graduate students for graduate students.

There is a range of questions that the Research Commons can help you with on an individual basis (in person or by e-mail) or through the workshop series. To register for one of the workshops, please see their events page.

Alumni have walk-in access to most library databases, with the exception of some financial and market research databases, where the licenses only allow for current students, faculty and staff use.

Remote access to databases is restricted to current students only. Research help is also available.

The UBC Library website provides more information about services available to alumni.
