Canada Goose

The self-described luxury outerwear apparel company Canada Goose was founded in Toronto in 1957. The company's profile was raised in the 1980s when it developed the Expedition Parka, nicknamed "Big Red", which was used widely by Arctic and Antarctic scientists, researchers, and workers. Best known today for its puffers and parkas, two flagship stores opened in Toronto and New York City in 2016, and the company further expanded by launching knitwear products in 2017.
