These search techniques can be used in Google and Google Scholar.
- Search for a phrase using quotation marks, e.g. "indigenous forestry"
- Combine search terms automatically (default "and" between words) to narrow a search, e.g. "indigenous forestry" governance
- Combine search terms carefully with OR to expand a search, e.g. governance OR management OR leadership
- Keep your searches simple. The asterisk does not work as a truncation symbol, and you cannot use parentheses.
