B.C. Open Textbook Collection
Canada’s first major repository of open educational resources. Includes a growing selection of open textbooks for a variety of subjects and specialties.
Directory of Open Access Books
A directory of academic, peer reviewed open access books. Includes titles from OAPEN, Knowledge Unlatched, OpenEdition.
HathiTrust Digital Library
Digital preservation repository and access platform for digitized content from a variety of sources, including Google, the Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house member institution initiatives. Items in the public domain are in full-view for everyone and items held in copyright are searchable.
LibriVox
Free public domain audiobooks, read by volunteers.
National Academic Press
More than 8,500 titles in PDF format, most of which can be downloaded for free by the chapter or the entire book. Focus on science, engineering, and health.
Project Gutenberg
A library of over 60,000 free ebooks that can be read online or downloaded onto various eReaders.
