CINAHL (Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature) provides coverage of nursing and allied health literature from 1982 to present. The database has over 1,250,000 records. CINAHL indexes 2700+ journals, as well selected books, pamphlets, dissertations, audiovisuals in nursing, allied health, consumer health, biomedicine, alternative therapy, health sciences librarianship.

Searching for Research Articles
Limiting to research articles in CINAHL is very easy. In the advanced search screen there are limiters below the search boxes. At the very bottom there is a limiter for Research Articles. This limiter includes both qualitative and quantitative research articles.
