Citation Styles for Economics

Students in economics courses should consult their course syllabus and assignments for details on which citation style to follow. 

UBC Library provides online access to the Chicago Manual of Style as well as a Quick Guides on both of the Chicago systems for citation ( Author-Date, and Humanities). The 17th edition of the Chicago Manual was released in 2017; this FAQ from Chicago details the major changes.
