- Encyclopedia of Life (EOL)An online encyclopedia of animals, plants, fungi, protists, and bacteria with text, images, video, maps, and data.
- Entrez NCBI Database SearchDescribes and provides a link to each NCBI database, which searches data and literature on genes, proteins, chromosomes, and biochemicals. All NCBI databases can be searched simultaneously from this page.
- BioModelsStores a wide selection of mathematical models for biological systems in a freely accessible repository.
- Tree of Life Web ProjectProvides information about the evolutionary history of organisms, and allows navigation between different taxonomic levels through a phylogenetic tree.
