CMA membership is free for students, but you must first be a member of your provincial organization. Among other things, CMA members have access to a number of valuable online resources, some of which are great supplements to what is available through UBC Library.
An organization representing over 8,000 medical students from 14 Canadian medical student societies from coast to coast. They represent medical students to the public, to the federal government, and to national and international medical organizations.
Founded in 2021, IMSAC's vision is to create a national association that will act as a safe space for Indigenous medical students across Canada to build community, work together on advocacy, and increase Indigenous representation.
The BMSAC is a collaborative network of Black medical students across Canada. Their mission is to secure equitable representation of Black students in Canadian medical schools and to advocate for more inclusive medical training that equips all learners to better serve the healthcare needs of underserved Black communities across Canada.
