ESG Data

Environmental, social and governance information (ESG) information can be accessed via Bloomberg by running function <ESG>. ESG <GO> provides an overview of a company's environmental, social, and governance performance, both over time and versus its peers, so you can assess risks and opportunities that may impact a potential investment.

ACCESSING ESG DATA

Accessible on dedicated Bloomberg computers located in:

• Wayne Deans Investment Analysis Center (available virtually)

KMPG Survey of Corporate Responsibility Reporting

The KPMG Survey of Corporate Responsibility Reporting provides a snapshot of current global trends in corporate responsibility reporting. The survey covers 4,100 companies in 41 countries and a deep-dive into the quality of reporting among the world’s largest 250 companies.

This online tool allows you to compare a) the rate of CR reporting by country, region and sector b) the rate of assurance of CR reports by country and region c) the average quality score of the CR reports of the world’s largest 250 companies by sector.

Sustainability Disclosure Database

The Sustainability Disclosure Database from the Global Reporting Initiative allows you to search for sustainability reports from specific companies, or across sectors and regions. Use the benchmarking tab to compare across sectors.
