Helpful tips for limiting and sorting your results are to filter the results by location (set to Rare Books and Special Collections), and sort results by Publication Date (oldest first).
Subject headings compose a controlled vocabulary that describes the main concepts contained in a book in a uniform way. This is different from a keyword search because subject headings are especially selected and applied by a librarian and reflect concepts, while keyword searches return simple word matches.
