There are many specialized collections and resources available across various UBC library locations. Each map collection is located based on the topic of the map and its relation to the other collections held in the library. The libraries with map collections include Koerner Library, Rare Books and Special Collections, UBC Archives, Xwi7xwa Library, and UBC Okanagan. At each of these branches there are collections, staff, and facilities available to consult for you work.

The UBC Digitization Centre has digitized a number of UBC Library's collections that include maps and atlases. These digital collections are part of UBC's Open Collections and are freely accessible by anyone
