Each guide can include multiple regular (aka top-level) pages and subpages. To view page properties or rename a page, click the Page button at the top of the guide.
To add a new page to your guide, click the plus sign (+) box at the bottom of the page menu (shown at right).
You can either fill out the form to create a new page, or you can reuse a page that already exists on another UBC guide.
Remember: If you want to reuse an existing page you must tick the "Copy" box in order to edit the new page's content.
If you would like the new page to appear as a subpage, use the Position dropdown to assign the new page under an existing top-level page. Subpages are a great idea if you want to add more or related content on a topic, but you want to avoid "tab clutter" on your guide.
For more information, see Add a regular page or subpage to a guide and Reuse or copy an existing page in a guide.
To delete a page or subpage, click the Page button (shown at right) at the top of the page, followed by Delete Page.
You will be prompted to choose which page or subpage you wish to delete.
Caution: If you choose to delete a page, there is no way to recover it. So make sure you choose the right page!
For more information, see Deleting a page or subpage from a guide.
Each page on a guide is automatically assigned a random page URL. You can create friendly URLs for each page by clicking the pencil icon next to Page URL.
For more information, see Customize a page's friendly URL.
You can change the order of the pages in your guide, or even make top-level pages subpages and vice versa.
To reorder or move a page or subpage, click the Page button and, under Reorder/Move, choose Pages. From here, you can shuffle the order of top-level pages and subpages in your guide.
