Images - Finding & Using

This guide provides information on how to find and use images for research and educational purposes.

Search Engines

Search engines are a quick, user-friendly way to begin an image search. They function like traditional keyword web searches, but also offer the opportunity to reverse image search. Reverse image search allows you to upload an image and search the same or similar images. This is useful if you are looking to find out more about an image, track where it has been published, find its source/origin, or if you're simply trying to find an image that is similar to one you already have.
