Rare Books and Special Collections also collects comic books written by Vancouver-based artists whose work is primarily Vancouver or British Columbia focused. Many of the comics are self published.

Susan Ferguson comic collection
Collection consists of the following comics: The Adventures of Pussy and Cock, Antic Comics, Underbelly Comics.
Robin Konstabaris comic collection

Julian Lawrence comic collection
A collection of comic anthologies to which Julian contributed, the first 12 issues of the "Drippy gazette", some self-published works, and some standalone comic books.
James Lloyd comic collection

Josué Menjivar comic collection

Jason Turner comic collection

The Cloudscape Comics Society is a coalition of indie comic book artists centered in Metro Vancouver who publish yearly anthologies, run comics-related events, and foster a local artistic community that pushes the boundaries of the comic book medium.
