Consultations are currently offered via Zoom or the UBC service below.

To connect to the Virtual Research Consultation with Helen Brown, UBC Librarian, go to conference # 82838.

First time using this system? Please connect to our test conference ID (82998) and follow the instructions to test your system.

Connecting via computer:
1. Go to http://meet.vc.ubc.ca (latest version of Google Chrome or Safari required)
2. Enter the conference ID and your name
3. Click Connect and follow the on screen prompts

Connecting via mobile device:
1. Download ‘Pexip Infinity Connect Mobile’ from the App Store or ‘Pexip’ from Google Play Store
2. If prompted, enter your name – ignore any Registration or Advanced settings
3. Enter your conference ID followed by @vc.ubc.ca (e.g. 12345@vc.ubc.ca) and click Join
4. Tap the camera icon to join the meeting

Connecting via room system (Cisco/Tandberg, Polycom, Lifesize, etc.):
1. (UBC registered endpoint) Dial the conference ID
2. (IP) Dial 206.12.208.95, then enter the conference ID followed by # to connect
3. (URL) Dial conference ID followed by @vc.ubc.ca (e.g. 12345@vc.ubc.ca)

Connecting via phone (audio only):
1. If you are calling from:

• Vancouver: 236-521-0666
• Kelowna: 236-420-5440
• Prince George: 250-596-9909
• Victoria: 250-940-3625

2. For the extension, enter the conference ID followed by #
