David Lam Library Remote Access Guide

This guide contains all relevant library resources and information for UBC Sauder students during the campus closure.

Drop in Research Help

Many of your class assignments will require you to find high quality information on an industry, company, consumer group, location or other business topics.

 Visit us in person!

Starting September 6, 2022, we are back to in-person research help. You can drop by the library for in-person research help from 1pm to 4pm on weekday afternoons, Monday to Friday, in room CLC 220

No appointment necessary!

Staffing these drop-in hours is dependent on librarian availability and could change without notice. If no one is available during the regular drop-in hours, please submit your request via email: lam.ref@ubc.ca

AskAway

AskAway is a virtual reference service designed to help university students get instant help with their research. Librarians from around the province answer questions on aspects of the library research process – from finding articles and books on a topic to formatting citations in a completed assignment.

The chat service is staffed by UBC Library, but at peak service times or off-hours, you may be connected with a librarian from another academic library.
