Overview

An important part of the The Final Report of the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls are the 231 Calls for Justice. Among these is the Call to Justice: Human and Indigenous Rights and Government Obligations 1.1, which calls for the Canadian government to “Develop and implement a National Action Plan to address violence against Indigenous women and girls.”

Though the COVID-19 Pandemic has slowed the work being done to create a comprehensive National Action Plan, the work is ongoing. You can read more about this project through the following resources.
