RefWorks

Exporting by Folder

If the organization of your folders is important to you, it is recommended that you export and import your references by folder. This allows you to preserve the organization of the references you have saved in RefWorks.

  1. Log into New RefWorks

  2. Using the navigation menu on the left of the page, navigate to My Folders and select the folder you would like to export.

  3. Click Share in the top right of the page and select Export references from the dropdown menu.

  5. The file will now export. It is recommended to change the name of the file to the name of the RefWorks folder it was exported from.

  6. Repeat for all your folders.

Exporting all at once

It is not recommended to export all at once as you will lose all your folders if you export in this way. However, if you don't care about your RefWorks folders and want to save time, it is possible to export all your references at once.

  1. Log into New RefWorks

  2. In the top right corner click Share and select Export References
