Start your research by reviewing books on your topic. This is a great way to familiarize yourself with the main ideas and keywords on the topic.
Use the Summon to find books, reports and other background information. Start with a broad keyword search. (Tip - Try the scientific name for your plant). Limit by book/ebook.
Once you find a book that looks useful for your topic, look at the Subjects in the record. You can then click on those hyperlinks to find more books on that topic.

1) If you’re already in a database, click on UBC eLink to connect to the online full text or location of the print journal if available.
2) If you have a citation, search for the journal title using the Journals tab.
For an ejournal, check which years we have access to.
For a print journal, check the Location has statement for the year you want. Record the location and call number
