There is no 'one stop' place to search for information and research on Africa. Depending on your research topic and discipline focus, different sources of information will be important to you. The tabs on the left of this guide will direct you to specialized databases to search for articles and the library catalogue to search for books.
In addition, UBC Library provides access to many reference books that provide excellent background information, digital collections that contain historical documents relevant to African Studies, statistical databases, and newspapers from relevant countries.
