Q:    How do I know which database to use?
 
A:    1. Click on Get Research Help.

   2. Select Research Guides.

 When you have found a guide, click the Articles tab for suggested databases.

 Remember:
 Some of the commonly used article indexes for nursing students and health practitioners are:

  • PubMed an excellent health database that is open access (unrestricted online access)
  • CINAHL a core database for nursing literature which indexes over 2700 journals from 1982
