• BC Association of Social Workers - the member services association for social workers in BC. Supports and promotes the profession of social work and advotes for social justice. 
• BC College of Social Workers - BCCSW is the regulatory body for the practice of social work in British Columbia. 
• Social Workers in Health Society of British Columbia - Promotes excellence in social work practice in health care, in British Columbia through educational events,biannual newsletters, and networking and communication.

National: 

• Canadian Association of Social Workers - A federation of nine provincial and one territorial social work organizations.
• Canadian Association for Social Work Education - National charitable association of university faculties, schools and departments offering professional education in social work at the undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate levels.

• International Association of Schools of Social Work  Worldwide association of schools of social work, other tertiary level social work educational programs, and social work educators.
• International Council on Social Welfare  Represents international nongovernmental community organizations that work directly with people in poverty, hardship or distress.
• International Federation of Social Workers A global organisation striving for social justice, human rights and social development through the development of social work, best practices and international cooperation between social workers and their professional organisations.
