Introduction

In addition to legal databases and indexes, you may be researching a topic that requires you to go further afield.  Whether you are researching a topic that is interdisciplinary in nature, looking for a news story, or need statistics to back up an argument, there are non-legal databases and resources that can help.

To find a complete listing of indexes & databases pertaining to a particular subject area, go to the homepage of the relevant subject library. From any UBC Library web page (www.library.ubc.ca), click on Hours & Locations from the top menu choices, select the relevant library, and click on the library’s web address.

This guide includes a selective listing of interdisciplinary and news resources.
