L'Oréal

L'Oreal was founded in 1919 in Paris, France by chemist Eugene Schueller who created a hair dye called Aureale. Today the L'Oreal Group controls L'Oreal Canada, which is headquartered in Montreal and currently employs 1,200 Canadians. Their products include skin care, cosmetics, hair dye, hair care and sun protection. The Hickmore manufacturing plant in Montreal focuses on hair care products and exports 95% of its manufactured goods to 39 Group subsidiaries.
