- Loan policies and finesBy applying for a UBC/Library card, borrowers agree to abide by the loan policies. Loan periods vary based on item type and borrower.
- Borrowing between UBC Campuses (DocDel)UBC Library Document Delivery (UBC DocDel) is a service that retrieves UBC Library materials for you.
- Borrowing from non-UBC Libraries – InterLibrary Loan (ILL)Can’t find what you want at the UBC Library? Interlibrary Loan (ILL) will order it for you from another Library.

- Digital Media LabA space for your media creation and editing needs, and support is available from Digital Medial Lab assistants.
- Equipment BorrowingAudiovisual and computer equipment - from projectors to speakers, presentation mice and Mac adapters
- Study SpacesDavid Lam Library has 16 group breakout rooms with whiteboards and screens. Visit the UBC Sauder Room Bookings site to reserve a room.
Writing Tutoring
Business writing coaching and pronunciation improvement sessions are available free of charge to Sauder PhD and MSc students, provided by professional tutors.

Wayne Deans Investment Analysis Centre
Offering Bloomberg terminals, Standard & Poor’s Capital IQ workstations and Thomson Reuters Datastream workstations, the analysis centre is a powerful hub providing students and faculty with access to global capital markets data in real time.
Research Commons
- Research Commons at the Koerner LibraryProvides four services: thesis formatting support, citation management assistance, statistical software support, and FIREtalks. These services are all being provided by graduate students for graduate students.

Excel help
In addition to offering Excel workshops and drop-in office hours in the CLC, our Excel coach, Rafael Castillo created several Excel videos.
Alumni
Alumni have walk-in access to most library databases, with the exception of some financial and market research databases, where the licenses only allow for current students, faculty and staff use.
Remote access to databases is restricted to current students only. Research help is also available.
